Penn State Community Mourns the Death of Legendary Coach Joe Paterno
A steady stream of mourners visited the bronze Joe Paterno statue outside Beaver Stadium yesterday. WPSU’s Emily Reddy gathered this remembrance from those who went to pay homage to the legendary Penn State football coach.

JoePa was a man who held a heart and mind of a sage.
He was kind to all who met him.
I graduated from University Park main campus
In 1975; I will recall days when I happened to see JoePa who greeted all people with a friendly smile.
