Bio

Sarah Blake is an associate producer for radio at WPSU. She produces WPSU’s radio series BookMark, the book review show that highlights the amazing community of readers in central Pennsylvania.

In addition to her work with the radio, Sarah is studying for her MFA in poetry at Penn State. Her poetry is forthcoming in literary journals such as Michigan Quarterly Review, the Los Angeles Review, and Sentence: a Journal of Prose Poetics. She is also the 2010 winner of the Toby Thompson Prize for Literary Non-Fiction. Plus, as a teaching assistant for the English department, she teaches composition and creative writing.

Her work in radio reminds her there’s a non-college-student world in State College. She looks forward to hearing more from the readers in the area, from Altoona to Bradford.
